The bring back our girls group says it will drag the federal government and the Nigerian police to court for violating their fundamental human rights and unlawful detention of some of its members in Abuja on Tuesday.
This is coming forty eight hours after the group had a confrontation with the Nigerian police who prevented from marching to the presidential villa to demand the release of remaining abducted Chibok girls.
The last attempt by the bring back our girls group to match to the presidential villa was frustrated by the police. This resulted in a scuffle that led to the arrest of some members of the group. Those arrested have been released but the group reconverged to demand the release of the remaining 113 chibok girls and other Nigerians who are in the captivity Of Boko Haram.
Leader of the group, Oby Ezekwesili says the government and the Nigeria police will meet them in court over the violations of their fundamental human rights.
The group says it will continue its scheduled match to the presidential villa three times every month until the government meets their its demands.
