As more reactions continue to trail disappearance of one Emmanuel Otobo, an indigene of Okpoku Local Government Area of Benue state from a psychiatric home in Akoko Area of Ondo state, those concerned have been charged to exercise caution and allow police conclude investigation.
Olukare of Ikare-Akoko, Oba Akadiri Momoh, who denied involvement of the palace in the kidnap saga as alleged by the otobo family, expressed confidence in the ability of security agents to rescue the victim and fish-out the perpetrators.
Emmanuel Otobo, an indigene of Okpoku Local Government area of Benue state, was receiving treatment for mental illness at a traditional healing home in Irun-Akoko Area of Ondo state, before he disappeared in December last year.
Brother to the missing Emmanuel, Akor Otobo told newsmen that he was later seen in another town, Ikare-Akoko and alleged that a man believed to be of royal family connived with some youths in the area to kidnap him.
But the Olukare Of Ikare-Akoko, Oba Akadiri Momoh denied involvement of the palace in the kidnap saga, as claimed by the family of the victim.
While Otobo called on government to intervene to secure the release of Emmanuel for treatment, Oba Momoh called for caution and charged those concerned to allow police conclude investigation on the matter.
As police intensifies investigations on the matter, the Otobo Family are hopeful of the safe rescue of Emmanuel from his abductors.
