The Secretary General of the International Police Organisation (INTERPOL), Jurgen Stock, says Nigeria needs to be a part of a globally integrated fight against crime.
The INTERPOL Chief made the call in Abuja during a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s Interior Minister, Abdulrahman Dambazau.
Stock acknowledged the existence of a global network of policing crime, but said more needs be done to beat the ingenuity of modern day criminals.
The Interior Minster promised Nigeria’s collaboration with the international anti-crime body.
Nigeria is one of INTERPOL’s 192 members.
